MindMap for AI & Learning Strategies

I am in the final hours of design for our first AI & Learning LAB that we will host tomorrow for 45 learning executives from to major corporations and government agencies. (The LAB sold out and we just announced one for the end of June).

Here are a few elements from my planning for the LAB that I wanted to share with NOTES readers:

Content MindMap: There are so many interesting, provocative and challenging topics about the near term impact of AI on Learning. Here is my MindMap for the arenas of experimentation, investigation, innovation and strategy:

A TED Video Talk on “Risks of Runaway AI”. This is a provocative 14 minute TED talk by Gary Marcus on the speed of AI rollouts and the challenges that societies and organizations will face.

In the week ahead, we will be sharing the suggestions and perspectives of our AI & Learning LAB participants with the readers of NOTES, including approaches to experimentation, limitations and ethics of AI and other ways organizations are prepping for the rapid changes in this field. We are also tracking intriguing AI innovations from non-profit groups like Khan Academy and others in the learning field.
