"The Future is Coming..." A Song For Learning & Storytelling

A Song Can Enhance Workplace Learning!

This week, 50 Learning Professionals from corporations, military and non-profit organizations designed the content for a song to summarize their experiences with AI & Learning in our LAB.

First, they added words or phrases after 8 hours in the LAB that reflected the Sept 2023 view of AI & Learning, using a Word Cloud service:

Then, I had an amazing performer, songwriter and instructor from Berkeley College of Music in Boston, Audrey Bussanich, visit the LAB via Zoom. The participants shared the word cloud above and several spoke about their view of AI & Learning.

Audrey wrote the lyrics for “The Future is Coming” with all of their words highlighted in blue:

The next morning, Audrey returned to the LAB by Zoom, and performed the song. They took a copy of the song and lyrics with them, as one of the assets from the LAB.

Storytelling has many shapes and formats. Music and storytelling can be a powerful tool in our learning efforts.
