As we begin 2024, I wanted to share a powerful story from an amazing actor, Aaron Lazar:
Aaron Lazar, has been a Broadway mainstay for two decades in The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, Oklahoma!, The Light in the Piazza, Les Misérables and in regional productions of Bridges of Madison Country opposite my good friend Kate Baldwin.
In January of 2022, Aaron Lazar was diagnosed with ALS, a relentless, neurodegenerative disease. In the face of this terminal diagnosis, Aaron made a difficult and extraordinary choice - one that he makes every day now: to turn living with a devastating illness into a transformative journey of enlightenment and hope. In this deeply personal narrative, ‘The Impossible Dream,’ Aaron weaves heartfelt emotion and charming humor with passionate song.
Join Aaron as he celebrates the indomitable human spirit. His pursuit of healing and grace reminds us all that even in the face of overwhelming adversity, we have limitless potential within us to live our own impossible dreams.

May we in my worlds of Learning, Storytelling, Innovation and Theater continue to understand the power of stories and advocacy as we tackle the small, large and not-yet-understood challenges of our times.
