Great poem, and very nice video. The TikPoint ideas is too interesting to be a joke. It could happen. There's lots more to learn about the Open AI initiative, and they're just down the street here in Berkeley... :-) (Side note: April 1 is also the founding day for Saba Software, 1997. It wasn't intended to be a joke, just a stroke of irony, but now is somewhat long forgotten..., but still a good smile). Cheers!

I think I need to share the orientation suggestion with our HR department - it's as sensible as anything else they've tried . Thank you for including the Sesame Street clip as well. I can't imagine having to have a conversation like this with a child.

Joseph. While the item in the Note about TikTok and PowerPoint was one of my April Fools jokes, you are raising important questions. TikTik or other “reels” will be a part of how a portion of our users are expecting their content.

PowerPoint for TikTok Users: We will need to share content with employees who are in TikTok Mode. I'm perplexed by this and would like to hear/see how others are handling the use of TikTok for the following:

1) About a dozen states have laws, a few countries as well, that state an employer must reimburse an employee for personal cell phone usage for work related requests/requirements

2) Security, how are companies dealing with the use of TikTok for corporate content

3) Asking/Requiring employees to join TikTok; what if they don't want to be on that platform; assuming the employee's profile is now public and they don't wish to be "out there"

4) How have the Congressional inquiries impacting your use or consideration of TikTok

Thankful that we have Sesame Street as a home for comfort and learning for the very young. I am reminded of the role Mr Rogers played as comforter after the Kennedy assassination. The difference is, today we are divided over how to deal with the crisis of violence against children. They are the targets. And the children hearing about this are subject to imagining threats to themselves that are all too real. A very different kind of fear pervades our children’s lives . Maybe the Sesame Street puppets can address Congress.

in 1973 Tom Lehrer, the Harvard-educated mathematician, poet, and singer said ''When Kissinger won the Nobel peace prize, satire died". You've put it well, Elliott. Maybe 2023 is the year another facet of humanity - the humble April Fool's Day joke - also died. So many barely believable changes are taking place all around us it's difficult tell truth from fiction.
